Luke 24:34
34Jesus said, "Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing."[a] And they divided up his clothes by casting lots.
Realize that Jesus was on the cross when he ask the Father to forgive. We don't forgive and we are not going through anything. As Christians we need to be like Jesus and make the choice to forgive. I mean truly forgive deep down inside. I believe when we don't forgive we can't forgive ourselves. So start with you, forgive yourself and then forgive other and you will really be walking like Jesus
